Best cake I’ve ever had!
I’m a self-proclaimed cake lover with very high expectations. I told my husband I wanted my recent birthday cake to come from a high-end bakery in Edina where I typically get my son’s birthday cakes. I have consumed a lot of good cake in my time, but I didn’t think their cakes could be topped. It turns out, they didn’t have availability to bake my cake. We were celebrating in the Saint Cloud area, and my husband stumbled upon Jolie’s bakery after he couldn’t get a cake at my bakery of choice. Based on the reviews, he went ahead and placed an order for a 10in birthday cake. Let me tell you, it is no exaggeration when I say it is the best cake I’ve ever had! The texture and flavor of the cake was absolutely perfect. I ate it for 5 days straight, and it was just as good on day 5 as it was on day one! I had an almond cake with strawberry lemon buttercream. I’m still dreaming about it, and can’t wait for more.
